- Select a Credential Vault value to read
- Select a variable to map the vault value to
- Use the vault value in REST web service request bodies, logins, etc
The Credential Vault Package enables developers to quickly and easily read values from the Automation Anywhere Credential Vault. Through using this package, developers can pull values from the Credential Vault for use in things like a JSON body for a REST Web Service request, login credentials, or even environmental variables like server share locations and URLs.
How can you creatively use the Credential Vault?
-Make use of environment-specific URLs or folder paths that bots can reference as they move from environment to environment.
-Retrieve keys/tokens which may be required for REST web service calls
-Store and pull full DOMX paths for web automation objects so bots can be updated without re-deploying code should web pages change.
