A2019 - Web Automation Package

The package actions allow users to automate tasks in Chrome in a high performance and accurate way using JavaScript code. It is based on ChromeDriver.
There are two ways to automate tasks in Chrome
Either use actions like Click, Select, Get Value, or Set Value to perform automation tasks step by step.
Or use the Execute JavaScript action to perform multiple tasks in one JavaScript function.

12/2/2020 Update:
-Updated the default chromedriver.exe to a version that supports Google Chrome v87.x. As long as you're using Chrome 87.x, you can leave the driver selection blank in the Start Session action. Otherwise, browse out to find the appropriate selenium chrome driver
-Updated the included sample bot to show basic page navigation. The included sample will launch a browser session, navigate to google.com, perform a search, and click a search result link.

Setup Process

Install

Download the Package and follow the instructions to install it in your AAE Control Room.

Configure

Use the Package in a bot, configure keys and other credentials the package will need (see the ReadMe for details.)

Run

That's it - now the Package is ready to get going!
