This bot is designed to work for any user by simply plugging this bot in existing or new task.The objective of this Bot is to automatically assign the issues in the JIRA service desk to the JIRA users.
Bot will automatically assign the issues which are in open state to the Jira users. User details are maintained in an excel document. Based on the Issue key from the unassigned Issues queue the user will be assigned to that Issue. In this process REST API URL is used to pass the assignee name.
Key Use Case:
The new Issue Tickets which were created by the support team will be added into the Unassigned Issues queue. Then the user is allocated for the newly opened issue ticket by the Administrator or by the Project Manager.
