Tasks

  • Read configuration file, store data to user created variable
  • Create folder structure, delete existing downloaded files and copy report Excel sheet to output folder
  • Open report Excel sheet, Launch Putty CLI and login with CM user details
  • Execute commands to capture CM uptime, RAM, disk space utilization and exit
  • Respectively launch Putty for AEP, AES, SBC, SMGR and SM systems, and login
  • Respectively execute commands to capture AEP, AES, SBC, SMGR & SM systems uptime, RAM, disk space utilization, and exit
  • Read through all the CSV files and populate respective systems uptime, RAM and disk space in the report excel sheet
  • Save, close Excel and send report Excel sheet to configured email address

This bot will be useful to monitor uptime, RAM, and HDD utilization of all the Avaya major systems such as CM, AEP, AES, SBC, SMGR, SM, etc, and generate reports. Due to manual and time-consuming activities, the bot can be helpful which will perform the entire process without any human involvement
The bot can be scheduled to run as per business requirement on predefined intervals which can be hourly/ daily/ weekly or any desired time and at the end of the execution, a consolidated detailed report will be attached and send to the respective configured email id.

Setup Process

Install

Download the Bot and follow the instructions to install it in your AAE Control Room.

Configure

Open the Bot to configure your username and other settings the Bot will need (see the Installation Guide or ReadMe for details.)

Run

That's it - now the Bot is ready to get going!
