Tasks

Prerequisite: Create user account on DeathByCaptcha portal and opt for premium plan by paying the requisite amount.

Inputs and triggers: The username and password of the DeathByCaptcha account is entered into captcha.txt file inside the Input Folder path for the test bot to run. For production releases. you may want to use secured credential vault. To trigger the sample bot, just run the ResolveTextCaptcha-AutomationAnywhere.atmx after providing the required details and watch the bot run.

Actions: The sample bot opens a test website for trying CAPTCHAs, downloads the image and calls the DeathByCaptcha API using a MetaBot DLL. The reply is then entered into the text box and verified for accuracy.

Output: The bot shows whether the CAPTCHA was successfully entered or not.

Use Cases: A large number of websites now have text-based CAPTCHAs to prevent bots from logging in and automating against their site. This bot would help developers to overcome such tricky scenarios which can remove attended automation dependency.

Setup Process

Install

Download the Bot and follow the instructions to install it in your AAE Control Room.

Configure

Open the Bot to configure your username and other settings the Bot will need (see the Installation Guide or ReadMe for details.)

Run

That's it - now the Bot is ready to get going!
