Is a license required to run paid bots?

Yes, each paid bot will be delivered with a unique license key. Paid bots are licensed based on an annual subscription with unlimited use within a single Control Room.

The license for the bot can be found in the “My Downloads” section once you start your free trial. You have to be logged in to your Bot Store account to access the license.

What security verifications were completed for paid bots?

Paid bots have been scanned for malware using a third-party anti-virus engine.  The source code has also been reviewed internally against a set of security checks for certain software vulnerabilities. These checks correspond to certain software vulnerabilities identified by the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), a not-for-profit organization focused on improving the security of software.   Each of the OWASP issues below correspond to certain items included in the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE), a list of software security vulnerabilities which can occur in software development as provided by MITRE, a non-profit research and development group.
Customers should conduct their own security reviews for paid bots to ensure compliance with their internal policies.

How can I get started with using paid bots?

Yes, you may continue using the bot but these bots will be no longer supported by Automation Anywhere and will not be available for download.
