Create AWS Instance in any VPC

The bot creates an AWS instance in default and non-default VPCs. It is an extension to the 'Create AWS Instance' bot in Bot Store

The bot can spin up AWS instances by reading emails from your mailbox with a specific subject. The AWS instance can be created for any acceptable AWS AMIs, default or non-default VPC, any valid security groups, etc. This bot can spin up AWS EC2 instances using the mentioned specifications.

Setup process

Install

Download the Bot and follow the instructions to install it in your AAE Control Room.

Configure

Use the Bot in a bot, configure keys and other credentials the Bot will need (see the ReadMe for details.)

Run

That's it - now the Bot is ready to get going!

  • Inputs: AMIID, SecurityGroups, AccessKey, SecretAccessKey, Region, SubnetID, LaunchInNonDefaultVPC, Username, Password, KeyPairName
