MS Word-Apache POI

Tasks

• Read, add & delete text from word documents
• Add comments, metadata such as title, subject, author, & keywords
• Create word document, find & replace text, remove and add strikethrough to the text

This custom package works using Apache POI library to perform tasks such as creating word document (docx, doc), add text, get text, delete text, add metadata, add comments, remove and add strikethrough to the text, find and replace text.
No need to install Microsoft word, since it works using the API.
